Kerisse is a multi-talented award-winning actress, dancer, writer, and producer of Bajan and Jamaican descent raised in Queens, New York. Graduate of Towson University, Magna Cum Laude with Double Honors and dance training at Alvin Ailey School. As a beacon of the Most High, she creates art from seed to FRUITion that invokes spirits to move; literally and figuratively.

As a professional dancer, Kerisse has choreographed and danced with numerous companies and music artists. While recovering from a dance injury she began devoting herself full-heartedly to acting. Kerisse won the Best Actress Award at the Harlem International Film Festival for her heart-wrenching portrayal of Simisola in the Gotham Award nominee feature film, “August the First” and starred in the hip-hop musical, “Honey Bo and the Goldmine” at the prestigious La Jolla Playhouse where she showcased her acting, dancing, singing, and rapping talents.

Other credits include: SyFy channel’s “Rise of the Zombies” opposite Levar Burton also starring Mariel Hemingway and Danny Trejo; the Paramount/BET drama “Dough Boys”, the outrageous comedy “The Janky Promoters” starring Ice Cube and Mike Epps; “24 Hour Love” with Lynn Whitfield, Tatyana Ali and Malinda Williams; the recurring role of Chantal, the High School mean girl, on “All My Children,”; and guest starring roles on “The Defenders,” “Law & Order: SVU,” “The Whole Truth,” and “Rescue Me.”
